edo competition presents the most powerful Panamera Turbo with a host of goodies
A Panamera Turbo doesn’t distinguish itself as the most understated looking vehicle on the road, but edo competition takes it a step further still.
So far the specialist company from Ahlen in Westphalia has mainly had sports cars from manufacturers such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche in its order books, but now edo competition has taken on a four-door sedan from Porsche, and completed a customization project incorporating numerous upgrades.
An important visual ingredient is the aerodynamics package from Mansory, which was installed on customer request. The new rear valance provides a lot of room for the high performance exhaust system developed by edo competition, featuring four large stainless steel exhaust tips and butterfly valves.
The edo electronic lowering module offers precise handling and improved vehicle dynamics. The new 22 inch wheels do their part to enhance the Panamera’s athletic appearance. If desired, the wheels can be custom painted to match the exterior of the vehicle or to provide a contrast.
The main focus, however, was on performance.
It’s not that a stock Panamera Turbo is short on power, but if a customer asks for an extra helping, edo competition is more than happy to accommodate these wishes and come up with a professional solution.
After a development time of almost two years, the technicians have finalized an engine that is – in contrast to the efforts of others – not the result of a project with ever-increasing power targets and a multitude of tweaks, but one that was designed for big power from the outset. The output of the Panamera’s twin-turbo V8 was increased from 368 kW / 500 hp to 551 kW / 750 hp, enabling the four-door sedan to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in under 4 seconds, and to achieve an electronically governed top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph), depending on the tires used.
As part of the engine modifications, the exhaust system was also completely redesigned. The revised tips complement the design of the new carbon fiber rear valance and a fantastic exhaust note adds to the driver’s enjoyment.

Full-scale discussions of sense and nonsense of all SUVs are near to the end but without any tangible result because the sales figures of this very noble vehicle (if they are actually used as such) from Ingolstadt, Munich, Stuttgart or Zuffenhausen are still unexpectedly high. The team led by Marc Reilly, head of the MR Car Design Company from Erftstadt, recently has chosen an Audi Q7 for reconstruction in order to allow the drivers to float on a cloud.
Aforementioned Q7 has been subjected to additional modification of daytime running lights from 2008 to 2010 levels, installation of LED indicator strip and performance improvement, so this noble racer is very close to new recently face-lifted model. The cost of such upgrade is 6999 Euro.
The software optimization of the 4.2-liter TDIs by MR Car Design from 326 to now 374 hp – while the maximum torque rises from 760 to currently 870 Nm – and withdrawal of tiresome Vmax lock add additional 799 Euros. Use of double-pack K & N air filter adds 160 Euros.

Again and again, the close-nit team headed by Benno Senner, president of the Company Senner Tuning AG, address to vehicles from Audi. This time the lucky car is A1 1.4 T-FSI, the smallest vehicle of this family, which has found the way to dealers not long ago. In the series of 90 kW or 122 hp, it has a maximum torque of 200 Nm.
The engine is one of the starting points of the reconstruction presented here. The function of the factory installed air filter now is performed by BMC OTA Power Airbox. To improve performance, a Chipbox was built as a performance-enhancing module, thereby at least 115 kW or 156 hp and torque of 250 Nm are available now. In electronics, a power converter is responsible for the gas signal amplification. For ordinary steam handling, Senner Tuning provides the stainless steel exhaust system in the right / left version including silencer and tailpipes, each 90 millimeters in diameter. As it might be expected from SENNER: of course with EC-approval.
Vital road adherence is provided by black-polish rims Corniche Monza in dimension of 8×18 inches combined with wheels. The S1 Evo Tyres are from Hankook. In addition, in-house sport springs provide a medium lowering by 35 millimeters.
The above mentioned modification adds foreseeable 4590 Euros. This amount includes the necessary TÜV registrations and additional warranty. Furthermore, the team from Ingelheim also offers essential coilover with custom height, rebound and compression adjustment, various parts of carbon, refinement of the interior or conversion to LED rear lights. The prices for these options are available on request.
Now you only have to enter, turn the key and go on…
