The Gold Edition of Mirage GT based on 980 Carrera GT by Gemballa

Gemballa, Tuning

Mirage GT Gold Edition is a model based on Porsche Carrera GT and is bearing the signature of the tuner Gemballa.

Germans are at tuning with number 4, in terms of Mirage GT. Before Gold Edition were Mirage GT, Mirage GT Carbon Edition and Mirage GT Matt Edition.

As the name suggests, Gold Edition benefits from various gold elements such as wheels, arms of mirrors, side sills and rear spoiler. Nothing inside escaped untouched, there being golden: rings of instrument cluster, center console, door handles and something at the wheel.

And here is a tuner which deviates slightly from the rule. This time the ground clearance is not lowered, but higher by 45 mm, so you can park it in the garage.

Power, a thing that I am convinced that you are interested, comes from a V10 of 650 hp and 630 Nm, capable of a sprint to 100 km / h in 3.7 seconds, to 200 km / h in 9.7 seconds and a top speed of 335 km / h.

But the price? Interested? Nobody knows how much it is, but is expected to exceed 300,000 euro.

The AMG C63 by EDO Competition

Tuning, edo competition

“To hell with modesty” – so begins the communiqué of the Edo Competition about their last performance, a Mercedes C 63 AMG. While recognizing the qualities and excellent performance of the series model, the boys at Edo Competition were dissatisfied. In fact, not dissatisfied but rather confident that it can be better. It’s their job to think so, if they want to preserve its reputation.

C 63 AMG is equipped with a V8 engine of 6.2 liter, a maximum power of 457 hp and max. torque of 600 Nm. No turbine. In fact, no one in Edo get complicated with supercharging. Instead they changed the exhaust system, exhaust headers, high-flow catalytic converters, new air filters and a recalibrated ECU (including top speed governor removal) boost these numbers to an impressive 555 horsepower and 680 Nm (501 ft-lb). With this occasion they suppressed and electronic speed limiter that hold just 250 km / h.

Being tested, the propeller reached to provide 555 hp and 680 Nm, sufficient values that the car will explode from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 320 km / h.

The good side (or bad, depending on how you look at the situation) is that Edo Competition has not crossed with the aesthetic lines of the machine, limiting to the fitting of black rims, from alloy rims, of 19 inches, shod in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires.

As for the inside, there are no pictures, because there is not a standard interior, to not conflict with different client tastes, Edo leaves them to order what they want. For the right price, tuner executes everything.

GL’s have an aggressive attitude from his mother and exactly that point increased and those from Carlsson.

Throughout the car we can find elements chromium or aluminum, but most obvious is in the front side. Grille, hood ornaments and lip spoiler are the elements that give muscle to car and make it look more aggressive.

In the 10,119 euro (how much this kit cost) you receive a set of rapids, a rear diffuser, an upgrade to the lighting system, where we find two LED position and two projects of fog, in addition to what was normal.

Those who still have some reserve money may opt for an intelligent adjustment of ground clearance, performance kits for most engines and a set of wheels on 22 “.
