The X1 is the latest welcome addition to the compact vehicles segment, and brings the characteristic BMW “Driving Pleasure” to this class. With an extensive range for the BMW X1, the AC Schnitzer version now celebrates its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show 2010.

The BMW X1 is available with choice of a 6-cylinder petrol engine and three 4-cylinder diesel power plants. Here again, AC Schnitzer is setting totally new standards for driving pleasure in the premium compact segment. The BMW X1 xDrive23d has been upgraded from a 150 kW/204 HP diesel engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo and Common Rail injection to 240 HP. The 2.0 d and 1.8 d units in the BMW X1 also feature Common Rail injection and a turbocharger, and with the AC Schnitzer tuning package achieve 210 and 171 HP respectively. Naturally, the power upgrades are available for both the sDrive and xDrive versions. The AC Schnitzer engine styling including capacity logo is available for vehicles with and without performance upgrade.

Acoustically, the sporting driving experience is enhanced by the AC Schnitzer sports rear silencer for the petrol X1 xDrive 28i (in development). Visual elegance is provided by the chromed “Racing“ tailpipe trim which is also available for all other models.

The superb driving behaviour of the BMW X1 with its focus on agility, precision and handling is the direct result of the sophisticated suspension technology used on the extremely solid body structure. AC Schnitzer has built on this and with its suspension spring kit and an aluminium strut brace, ensures the perfect balance between sporting performance and driving comfort.

The AC Schnitzer aerodynamics package is far more than mere decoration, although it harmonises effectively in the overall concept. The front spoiler and rear skirt extension, in combination with the rear roof spoiler, improve downforce and ensure additional ground adhesion. Engine bay venting is optimised by the AC Schnitzer Bonnet Vents. These are enhanced further with chromed centre webs available as an option. In aesthetic terms, the AC Schnitzer aerodynamic conversion emphasises the expressive styling and reveals to the observer on first glance the universal sporting ambitions of the X1 by AC Schnitzer.

Impressive design elements also lend a sporting and youthful note to the interior of the BMW X1 by AC Schnitzer. These elements include silver “Exclusiv“ carbon interior trim, illuminated leather gear knob, aluminium gear knobs with or without digital gear display, “Black Line“ aluminium cover for the i-Drive system controller, aluminium handbrake handle and pedal set, foot rests and velours foot mats.

The finishing touch comes from a set of attractive wheels, so the X1 retains its stylish appearance not only on twisty or changing terrain, but also outside a fashionable cafe. An ideal choice is the brand-new Type VIII wheel in 19“. The new wheel with its 5 double spokes in BiColor Finish is an evolution of the well-known Type VI wheel, and complements perfectly the styling language of the BMW X1. AC Schnitzer Type IV wheels in silver or in BiColor in 18, 19 or 20 inch, together with the Type VI rim in 18“, complete the range available for the BMW X1.

The new BMW 5-series saloon, model F10, has arrived! We’ve been eagerly awaiting the 6th generation of the 5-series for some time, and are delighted to welcome it finally into the BMW family.

Even before its official launch, the new BMW 5-series created rather a furore: with the longest wheelbase in its class, a long bonnet, short overhangs and a coupé-like roof line, it is about to be catapulted to the top of its segment.

AC Schnitzer is now rolling out a new multipiece wheel. The Forged Racing Wheel Type VIII is based on the design of the Type VI wheel but has even more to offer. The genuine three-piece designer product is a revolution in the broad marketplace for popular spoked wheels, and complements perfectly the styling language of BMW.

The visual charm of the new rim with its classic 5 double-spoke design comes from the cast, forged and machined inner star and a spoke frame held in anthracite.

The visible bolted connections to the wheel bed are a deliberate visual highlight. At the same time, the stainless steel bolts confirm the multipiece nature and hence the exclusivity of the wheel.

The outer and inner rim beds consist of flow-formed forged metal. Despite the wealth of detail, the multipiece Forged Racing Wheel Type VIII does not look busy, but the simple lines give it a masculine, athletic appearance.

The visual and technical impression left by the new forged racing wheel Type VIII is not the only great aspect. As well as rims size 22″ for the BMW 7-series (F01/F02) and BMW X5 / X6, the new Type VIII wheel also comes in mighty sizes 11.0J x 23“ and 12.0J x 23“ to suit the BMW X5 / X6.

Ready for its world premiere: the extensive product range for the BMW Z4 by AC Schnitzer. The Aachen-based tuning specialist has further optimised the brand-new classic from BMW, which has already received extensive accolades from the trade press.

The BMW Z4 as standard is far from under-powered. But as is well known, enthusiastic drivers can never have enough power. Sufficient reason then for AC Schnitzer to upgrade the Z4 3.5i Turbo to 286 km/h. With a power of 360 HP and an unladen weight of 1485 kg, the open-top roadster from BMW accelerates from a standing start to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Even the most demanding driver will be delighted with this performance.

The driving experience is enhanced acoustically and visually by the stainless steel sports rear silencer and the chromed Racing tailpipe trims.

Equally sporting is the AC Schnitzer suspension variant in the Z4. Thanks to a new spring kit, the transverse acceleration appears to bypass the conventional laws of nature.

This impression is certainly partly supported by the aerodynamic components made of PU-Rim, a high quality flexible plastic. The aerodynamic pack for the new BMW Z4 consists of a chrome front grille and front spoiler, where both components combine to give a more muscular look to the long bonnet lines. New sports fenders, consisting of wheel arches with integral air outlets for improved cooling of the front brakes and chromed deflectors, optimise the side lines of the roadster. Finally, the two-piece rear spoiler gives the rear of the BMW Z4 by AC Schnitzer an impressive look; because of the performance of the car, this is probably the aspect which will be seen most by other drivers!

In the inside, both driver and passenger enjoy an impressive interior. The aluminium cover for the i-Drive System Controller, the aluminium foot rests and pedal set, are just a few of the ergonomically perfect controls which give the vehicle elegance and enhance the sporting ambience.

Standing on AC Schnitzer Type IV in 18” or Type VI wheels in 18, 19 or 20 inch, the BMW Z4 takes to the stage for its world premiere. A striking entrance from the Aachen specialist, which will certainly not be forgotten in a hurry.

AC Schnitzer, famous german tuner, will present at the saloon car from Geneva the last model: BMW 7 Series. Available in two colors, black and white, the new BMW 7 Series, variant AC Schnitzer, has received a few aesthetic improvements.

Although the new sevens already have a very aggressive look compared to other BMW models, AC Schnizter decided to get caught with a tuning package very aggressive. The back of the car was raise with few centimeters and rear wings were widen with some millimeter.

Also, AC Schnitzer has received Series 7 and a new spoiler that change the appearance of fine car. Exhaust pipes are the main elements usually modified by AC Schnitzer, and the new 7 Series did not deviate from this rule, receiving two pipes exhaust of a restricted round contour of chromium in the form of trapeze.

Typical AC Schnitzer: The vehicle’s appearance is not misleading, but simply a reflection of its inner values. A real firecracker under the bonnets of the 740i and 730d have been developed which give 265 kW / 360 HP instead of the standard 240 kW / 326 HP (740i) and 210 kW / 286 HP instead of 180 kW / 245 HP (730d) (performance upgrades in preparation).

There’s a choice of countless exciting AC Schnitzer wheels for the new 7-series. Two particularly striking examples: the Type V alloy with its clear, transparent five-spoke design, which celebrates its world premiere in 22″ on the 7-series and is also available for X5 and X6.

After seeing in Chicago version of the new individual 7 series, you can strongly say that BMW has created one of the most beautiful models in recent years.

Germans from AC Schnitzer have launched a sports brake kit for Mini Cooper S in supplementing the existing package for this model.

Mini Cooper S has a sports braking package from AC Schnitzer in completing generous tuning program which will provide the Germans for the Cooper S. The Kit braking offers outstanding performance in any conditions and eliminates the phenomenon of fading.

Package created by tuners from AC Schnitzer is addressed only to front axle, and consists of two brake discs and two checkered modified holders. The new braking system from AC Schnitzer fits all models Mini Cooper S, both belonging to the current generation, and those of the previous generation.

Sports braking package from AC Schnitzer are holds with four pistons, while the brake discs have size 328 x 28 mm. Besides the four elements, the braking kit contains a set of plates for sport brake and two steel hoses for fluid brake, along with a set of carriers for holds.

At cold, braking from 100 km / h is achieved in 35.5 meters with 1.6 meters less than the standard version of Mini Cooper S. The difference between the kit and AC Schnitzer’s brakes standard of Mini is better understood once the disks and plates were heated, the model is able to stop in just 35.2 meters from 100 km / h when the brakes are equipped with ACS, while the standard version hamper at the same speed in 38.2 meters.

The new BMW Z4 is to be launched in May 2009 and comes with a folding hard top, which makes it a Roadster and Coupe in one. The dimensions of BMW Z4 have increased, giving the two-seater a more roomy interior. The vehicle comes with a sports rear silencer and tailpipe trims, suspension optimisation, aerodynamic components and interior accessories.

The high performance brake system was developed to provide driving comfort and promote agility. The new high quality brake system consists of 6-piston fixed caliper on the front and 4-piston fixed caliper on the rear, slotted brake discs, vented internally on both front and rear. The size of brake discs measures 380 x 35 millimetres at the front and 355 x 32 millimetres at the back.

The new AC Schnitzer high performance brake system comes for all three variants of the current BMW M3 (E90, E92, E93) both as a complete system for front and rear, or “just” for the front.
