The TECHART exterior packages lend the car not only an unmistakable look, but also have a functional intention: to give the car the best possible aerodynamics. The unique front and rear aprons of the TECHART Aerodynamic Kit II optimize the airflow which results in an improved supply of cooling air to the radiators and intercoolers as well as to the front and rear brakes. TECHART’s multifunctional daytime running light system is available for the front spoiler II. Followed by great interest the new generation of the Porsche Cayenne was presented at the Geneva Motor-Show a few weeks ago. For the current facelift version of the Porsche 911 Turbo TECHART unveiled its comprehensive individualization program at the Geneva Motor-Show in March. As always, the aim was to create something unique and individual from something already special. The result has arrived: the TECHART engine performance kits TA 097/T1 and TA 097/T2 provide the Turbo with an extra punch and even more power in two stages.

Convincing personality
What sets the TECHART engine performance kits apart is their impressive power in every dimension. Excellent acceleration figures and a top speed up to 333 km/h underline the experience and skill of the TECHART engineers in the further development of the engine systems. As all TECHART products, the performance kits convince due to highly functional quality and perfect crafting.

Performance kit TA 097/T1
Fitted with the TECHART engine performance kit TA 097/T1 and added 70 hp compared to the series model, the Porsche 911 Turbo accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. The forward propulsion stops not until 324 km/h. The boost in performance is made possible by optimized engine control and the use of a TECHART Sport air filter.

620 hp and a maximum torque of 820 Nm – the TECHART TA 097/T2 engine performance kit enables driving enjoyment with the 911 Turbo to reach astonishing levels. The engine conversion involves the installation of a TECHART Sport air filter, TECHART manifolds and the TECHART exhaust system “Sport”. All modifications are perfectly attuned to each other via the reprogrammed engine management. As a result, the Porsche 911 Turbo attains driving performance attributes which establish it as one of the fastest sports cars in the world. 0 – 100 km/h in extraordinary 2.9 seconds, the 200 km/h barrier is broken in further 6.4 seconds. The top speed of the sports car with an 3.8 l engine is a stunning 333 km/h.

The TECHART interior manufactory sets a benchmark in terms of individualization for the Porsche Panamera models. In addition to the existing range of interior options, a choice of further high-quality entertainment and comfort is immediately available. The use of the finest materials, the right instinct for aesthetics and the matchless technical precision of the finish formed the basis for two unique entertainment packages and rear fold-away tables, built into the front seats, which deliver significantly more fun during the journey for passengers in the rear of the four-seater.

The TECHART Entertainment Kit W2 includes two 7-inch monitors seamlessly integrated into the design of the front seats. It is incorporated in the high-quality TECHART leather monitor console in the color of the vehicle’s interior and located at the front seat backrests. A 6 DVD Changer attends to media playback – discreetly hidden in the trunk of the car.

The month of May is entirely dedicated of the Porsche Cayenne at TECHART. After the presentation of the first individualization options for the new Cayenne, the TECHART Individualization for the Cayenne Diesel of the first generation was priced with the YOKOHAMA 4 x 4 Award at the Tuning World in Friedrichshafen.

Absolute performance – no compromises

The new Aerodynamic Kit I emphasizes the Turbo’s inner strengths without being excessive or overloaded. The sturdy RIM polyurethane exterior reduces aerodynamic lift on both axles, allowing smoother handling capability at extreme speeds. One striking feature is the front spoiler, with its dynamically-accented air intake valves and seamless integration. As your eyes pass to the side of the vehicle, you notice the airflow-optimizing side sills, which are stretched to make the vehicle seem to sit lower. A small roof spoiler on the Coupe elongates the visual appearance of the roof line. The spoiler profile can generate additional down force with the extensible rear spoiler. Rounding off the modified back end is the diffuser, which extends the standard skirt downwards. Personalized mirror moldings add yet another sporty accent and enhance the unique TECHART appearance.

The same applies to the TECHART Aerodynamic Kit II. Independent front and rear spoilers optimize mass air flow for improved ventilation of the braking and intercooler systems. TECHART’s multifunctional daytime running lights are available for the front spoiler II. It combines daytime running lights, position illumination, sidelights, parking lights, and turn signals in a combined housing that fits seamlessly into the design of the vehicle front. The display brightness of the daytime running lights automatically adjusts to the selected daytime lighting setting. Furthermore, the daytime running lights dim automatically when either of the turning signals is active, in order to improve their visibility.

The high performance look and unmistakable TECHART design are also reflected in the wheel enhancements. Connecting the powerful torque of up to 700 Nm securely to the asphalt are the TECHART Formula light metal wheels, with their modern 5-spoke design. The product range includes TECHART Formula, Formula II, or filigree Formula III alloy-forged wheels in up to 20-inch formats. This classic form guarantees efficient heat diffusion and displays the braking system. For optimum road grip, TECHART recommends Conti Sport Contact 3 or tires from the brand Michelin Pilot Sport PS2.

Premiere in a cabriolet

In the exhibition halls at the Lac Léman TECHART is presenting the Individualization of a Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet. The Exterior in carrara white is convincing with the extraordinary Aerodynamik-Kit I and a Classic-Hardtop with two removable roof parts in carbon fiber. It’s worth to take a detailed look into the black leather equipped interior of this sports car. Decorative stitching in white, body trims in carbon as well as seatbelts and accents in speed yellow let the driver feel the TECHART character also in the Interior.

In September 2009, TECHART opened up a new chapter in the company’s history with the presentation of the Individualization program for the Porsche Panamera Turbo. Just a few weeks ago, the individualization offer was able to be extended for the Porsche Panamera S and 4S models.
