The 4×4 SUV is powered by a BRABUS B63 Biturbo 6.3-liter V8 engine with 650 hp (641 bhp) / 478 kW and reaches a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).

Visually the SUV sets itself apart with the stunningly styled BRABUS WIDESTAR version and forged 23-inch wheels. Also part of the standard equipment of the BRABUS GL63 Biturbo is an exclusive interior with leather and Alcantara. The GL 63 Biturbo is built in smallseries production and starts at 368,000 Euros MSRP.

BRABUS fits the high-speed eight-cylinder four-valve engine from the ML63 AMG with a twin turbo system and implants it into the largest Mercedes SUV. By doing so the luxury manufacturer from Bottrop elevates the GL 63 to a new performance dimension.

The twin turbo system is yet another high-tech development so typical for BRABUS. The BRABUS engineers have developed special cast exhaust manifolds with integrated turbine housings and bypass valves for the V8 engine. For faster response the turbochargers were sized relatively small and both manifolds were designed to only use the exhaust gases from three of the four cylinders on each side for driving the turbochargers.

The turbochargers themselves are also a custom BRABUS development. Normally V-type engines are fitted with two right-turning chargers. That results in a slower response on the right side of the engine because the intake on the right side of the turbine housing necessitates a more complicated exhaust routing than on the left side of the engine. To solve this problem the BRABUS engineers designed a left-turning turbocharger for the right cylinder bank of the engine and thus achieved perfect exhaust-gas dynamics.

The twin turbo system also includes a generously dimensioned water-to-air intercooler as well as a dual intake manifold with cast-in BRABUS Biturbo logos and sport air filters. Highperformance catalysts behind the turbochargers reduce back pressure and further lower exhaust emissions.

The inner workings of the engine are adapted to turbocharging with BRABUS forged pistons that reduce the compression ratio to 9.0:1. Newly programmed engine electronics with custom mapping for ignition and injection adapted to the turbo technology and an electronic boost pressure management system play a key role. Together they ensure not only maximum power yield but also clean emissions in accordance with the EURO IV emission standards. Like all BRABUS engines the B63 Biturbo is lubricated exclusively with synthetic ARAL high-performance motor oil.

This engine establishes the BRABUS GL 63 Biturbo among the world’s most powerful SUVs.

The engine has a rated power output of 650 hp (641 bhp) / 478 kW at a low 6,200 rpm. The maximum torque of 850 Nm (626 lb-ft) is available on a plateau between 3,000 and 5,500 rpm.

In combination with a modified SPEEDSHIFT 7G-TRONIC seven-speed automatic transmission and permanent four-wheel drive this engine delivers performance previously unimaginable for a vehicle of this type: The BRABUS GL63 Biturbo accelerates from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.7 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).

Naturally the vehicle’s aerodynamic properties, tires, suspension and brakes are all adapted to this enormous performance potential.

The BRABUS WIDESTAR version with its elegantly contoured fender flares adds six centimeters (2.4 inches) to the width of the GL 63 Biturbo. The WIDESTAR front apron was shaped in the wind tunnel to reduce aerodynamic lift on the front axle thus maximizing directional stability at high speed. Generously sized air inlets provide the engine and the front brakes with as much cooling air as possible. For further increased active safety the BRABUS front features LED daytime running lights and four auxiliary headlamps.

BRABUS rocker panels create an aerodynamically smooth transition between the fender flares on front and rear axle. Integrated entrance lights facilitate entering and exiting the vehicle in the dark.

The vehicle’s aerodynamics are further optimized by a roof spoiler and the BRABUS rear apron with integrated diffuser. The apron is custom-tailored to fit the wider fenders and in addition to cutouts for the tailpipes of the BRABUS stainless-steel quad sport exhaust system features integrated underfloor lights.

The large wheel houses offer plenty of room for three-piece BRABUS Monoblock E PLATINUM EDITION 11Jx23 wheels. These nine-spoke wheels have a forged and highgloss-polished drop center and can be fitted with Pirelli or YOKOHAMA high-performance tires up to size 305/30 R 23.

The BRABUS GL 63 Biturbo can also be equipped with forged 21-inch Monoblock VI or F wheels or with 22-inch Monoblock VI, E, Q or S and new BRABUS Monoblock G PLATINUM EDITION forged wheels.

The ride height of the high performance car is lowered by some 30 millimeters (1.2 inches) with the BRABUS suspension tuning module for the AIRMATIC air suspension. This measure not only benefits the looks of the GL. The lowered center of gravity also results in even sportier and safer on-road handling.

To further optimize active safety the SUV is equipped with a BRABUS high-performance brake system. The version for the GL 63 Biturbo features 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers and vented and cross-drilled 380 x 36 millimeter (15.0 x 1.4 inches) discs on the front axle. The rear axle stops on 355 x 28 mm (14.0 x 1.1 inches) brake discs and six-piston fixed calipers.

The luxury equipment of the BRABUS GL 63 Biturbo also includes a premium interior. The interior is custom-tailored to customer specifications from a combination of especially soft and breathable Mastik leather and Alcantara.

BRABUS precious-wood and carbon-fiber inlays are available in a variety of versions and are color-coordinated with the leather. The sporty character of the vehicle is reflected by the speedometer with 320-km/h (200-mph) scale, aluminum components such as pedals and door-lock pins and an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel.

Special consoles for the backs of the front seats each have an integrated seven-inch LCD screen, a DVD player and a folding table. They transform the rear passenger compartment into a multimedia studio. The entertainment equipment can be further expanded into a fully functional office on wheels with state-of-the-art communication and computer technology.

Edo competition has developed the most powerful GT in the world – Bentley edo speed GT. The power output of the 6.0-liter W12 engine was increased to 680 horsepower, turning it into the world’s fastest GT. The new unit delivers a maximum torque output of 880 Nm (649 ft-lb) at 2,500 rpm. With these numbers, the vehicle can sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.2 seconds. Due to the new high-performance exhaust system for the speed GT along with the ECU recalibration, the increased output has been achieved.

The sound level of the high performance exhaust can be adjusted with the help of a remote control. The lowered suspension gives the speed GT a sporty appearance and improves the handling capabilities. The wheels can be painted according to the customers’ wishes and a beautiful wrapper for a custom exterior styling is available in any colour.

The new BMW ALPINA D3 Bi-Turbo comes with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-charged diesel engine with an aluminium block capable to deliver 214hp at 4100rpm. Two turbochargers of different sizes force-feed the engine. The smaller of the two provides an impressive 400Nm (295lb-ft) of torque at 1500rpm, reaching a peak torque of 450Nm (332lb-ft) at a mere 2000rpm. The larger turbocharger is fully engaged from approximately 3000rpm onwards, and helps the four-cylinder yield 214hp.

The D3 Bi-Turbo is the most efficient diesel in its performance class due to the combination of diesel particle filter, auto start-stop (manual only) and brake energy regeneration. Due to the low kerb weight and low ratio tyres and weight-optimised light-alloy wheels, the customers can enjoy an extraordinarily agile and lightfooted handling of the D3 Bi-Turbo.

The D3 Bi-Turbo’s interior and exterior design of blue colour imparts an exclusive air of individuality and elegance.

The Bi-Turbo model designation that now graces this flagship BMW ALPINA saloon hints at even more powerful and torque-laden performance over its predecessor, while simultaneously improving upon fuel economy.

The fully-aluminium, 4395 cm3 V8 aggregate yields 507 peak horsepower (373 kW) at a moderate 5500rpm, with a maximum torque of 700 Nm available between 3000-4750rpm.

One look at the torque and power diagram is enough to highlight that the B7 Bi-Turbo will accelerate fiercely and effortlessly from very low revs. Peak torque is available from an unusually broad range of rpm’s, ranging from 3,000 to 4,750 rpm. This wide powerband coupled with the exquisitely geared ZF six-speed automatic sport transmission pampers the occupants with remarkably high levels of smooth drivetrain comfort in every driving situation.

The ALPINA SWITCH-TRONIC, which has been programmed to shift exceptionally smooth and comfortable in Automatic mode, offers different shift characteristics for every taste and situation thanks to the additional Sport and Manual modes. Driving the B7 Bi-Turbo becomes an altogether different experience when using the buttons found on the back of the steering wheel for manually selecting the gears of the automatic transmission. This ensures shifts take place within a few hundred milliseconds and with only minimal interruption to the transmission of power, favourably comparable even to the best twin-clutch transmissions.

As a result, the B7 Bi-Turbo sprints from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, vehemently pressing on to an electronically-limited 280 km/h top speed.

The new BRABUS B63 Biturbo 6.3-liter V8 engine produces 650 hp (478 kW) and propels the 4×4 to a top speed of 310 km/h. In addition to a superior engine the new BRABUS ML 63 sets itself apart from the rest with the sporty yet elegant WIDESTAR package, forged 23 inches wheels and an exclusive interior trimmed out with leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber. The BRABUS ML 63 Biturbo starts at 190,602 Euros.

The twin-turbo system further includes a large intercooler, a dual-flow intake manifold with cast-in BRABUS Biturbo logo, and high-performance free-flow metal catalysts for efficient exhaust-gas purification.

The high-end B63 Biturbo engine costs 69,800 Euros and offers power on a level previously unknown in the SUV world. With a rated power output of 650 hp (478 kW) at just 6,200 rpm the BRABUS engine surpasses its production counterpart by 140 hp (103 kW). Peak torque of the ML 63 Biturbo is 850 Nm, up from standard 630 Nm. It is available on a wide plateau between 3,000 and 5,500 rpm.

Just as unique in this vehicle category is the performance this engine delivers in concert with a modified seven-speed SPEEDSHIFT 7G-TRONIC automatic gearbox and permanent four-wheel drive: The sprint from rest to 100 km/h is shortened by 0.8 seconds to 4.2 seconds. Top speed increases from 250 to 310 km/h.

The front spoiler bumper with its three strikingly styled air inlets, four auxiliary headlights and daytime running lights lends the M-Class more passing clout and minimizes lift on the front axle. The BRABUS WIDESTAR body conversion further includes door trim components and rocker panels that create a perfect transition between front and rear fender flares. The rear apron features an integrated diffuser and cutouts for the chrome-plated tailpipes of the BRABUS stainless-steel quad sport exhaust system. In combination with the rear spoiler it creates an optimal aerodynamic balance.

The BRABUS control module for the standard AIRMATIC air suspension lowers the ride height by some 30 millimeters which also benefits sporty on-road handling.

To further optimize active safety the BRABUS ML 63 is equipped with a high-performance brake system. 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers grip front discs measuring 380 x 36 mm. The rear axle features six-piston fixed calipers and 360 x 28 mm discs. Together these components provide stopping power normally reserved for purebred sports cars.

The most powerful M-Class ever also features numerous exclusive interior highlights. Stainless-steel scuff plates with illuminated BRABUS logo and an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel are part of the package as is an exclusive BRABUS fully leather interior made from a perfectly finished combination of the finest Mastik and Alcantara leathers.

Sporty BRABUS ‘Checkered Flag’ carbon-fiber components for the interior are another BRABUS innovation. They have a carbon-fiber surface structure made to look like a checkered flag used as the finish flag in motorsports. The front seats can be fitted with custom rear consoles that encompass the headrests. They each house a seven-inch LCD screen with 16:9 aspect ratio and integrated DVD player. These consoles are also available in a version that features a power-folding precious-wood table.

Why would they build such a machine? It’s pretty simple – because they can. And more importantly, someone will happily cut down the sum of $480,000 to put one car in their collection. Like any real outfit calling themselves a premier German tuner. This time around, they’ve once again outdone themselves for the sake of the buyer and shoehorned their most powerful Mercedes-Benz derived engine -  520kW (700hp), 6.3L, V12 biturbo – into the most unlikely candidate – a G Class purpose-built off-roader.

The most impressive item in the whole Brabus G V12 S Biturbo package is the powerplant. It’s borrowed from an S600 and features an increased displacement from 5.5L to 6.3L via larger cylinders, bore and special cams. A bespoke crankshaft with longer stroke was included internally, while two bigger snails were bolted on as well. Redesigned stainless steel exhausts allow for a louder, deeper tone. A newly mapped ECU keeps the German mechanical madness operating in unison.

Even with all the power, lowered suspension and 22 in alloys, Brabus still clamors that their G Wagon monster is the same true off-roaderas it was straight from Mercedes Given its claimed performance numbers, though, all indications point to it likely never seeing a dirt path in its pampered lifetime. If owners can keep the tires from melting (literally), 100 km/h comes in a scant 4.3 sec before hitting a limited 240 km/h top speed. About entering the corners you can forget, because despite the tuned running gear, the G V12 is still a top-heavy behemoth.

And so as we are used to see only chic accessorized cabins from Brabus interior designers, this roomy SUV, the latest model is all the same, with its great interior. They would make the cabin personally for everyone, anything an owner desires will be there, starting with full multimedia and getting to office connectivity systems. This model is embellished with Mastik leather, alcantara and wood grain on nearly every exposed stock surface, and of course its seats, instrument display and sills are all of the best choice.
