When a street car is presented by Wimmer RS, one of the most important players on the tuning arena, everything must be perfect – while Germany is slowly preparing for winter, the tyres are still squeaking on the „RED DEVIL V-Projekt“. Standing by a power-circulating gear testing machine show the profs from Solingen, what the car is capable of: Thorsten Wimmer and his crew make the model Golf 6 R race, on the high-speed line and autobahn. The RED DEVIL V is not only fast, but also runs stable.

The Solingen tuning specialist Wimmer RS gives you wings with the new Golf 6 R 2.0 TFSI. And an extensive engine tuning program: Wimmer RS increases the efficiency stage V, now Golf R has about 478 hp, instead of the common for this series 270 hp. And the torque increases up to sensational 610 Nm (range 350 Nm) and the car is stopped by 291 km/h due to electronic system. That means a power/weight ratio of 3,04 kg/hp.

The task of turning a VW Golf VI GTI into a driving sound machine and making it look excessively great at the same time is probably not for everyone. The company CFC StylingStation, Neuss has gladly taken up this challenge. The result is worth a few words of admiration.

It takes a good portion of courage as well as confidence to opt for the kind of presentation seen on the newest generation Golf GTI – it is a matte, metallic silver coloured coating (1.500 Euro). The result, however, only reaffirms what experts from CFC knew all along.

Volkswagen T5 by MR Car Design

MR Car Design is famous for its remarkable customizations and exclusive car tuning. This time the tuner from the city of Erftstadt presents the ultimate and fully reworked air chassis. The air chassis by Mr Car Design meet the highest quality standard requirements. The air chassis for VW T5 (from 2,500 Euro) with comfortable adjustment possibilities is based on series-produced vehicles height levels and was developed to comply with all technical regulations for vehicle manufacturers. So currently VW is examining this model for UBB (technical reliability certificate) compliance.

As for the air spring adjustment unit, an electronic level control system with compressor unit and with no supplementary air vessel is at your service. The adjustment unit is equipped with 2 level sensors which are mounted between the car frame and the axle. Only three information signals (ignition, handbrake, speed) are read off to ensure ease of control and operational reliability. In case the height level of the vehicle does not match the distance programmed during the installation, it is automatically adjusted. The vehicle height level can be customized manually at any time.
