Exclusive automobile tuner Carlsson and a high fashion leather goods manufacturer Aigner developed the third model of Carlsson Aigner® CK55 RS Rascasse based on the Mercedes-Benz GL 500. The Rascasse is a luxury car with a distinguished exterior design.

The new vehicle comes with a supercharged 5.461cc, 48-valve, DOHC V8 engine capable to deliver 388hp (285 kW) and 530Nm of torque in standard form that can boost output to 456 hp (335 kW) with 640Nm of torque. With these numbers, the vehicle can sprint to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds, in comparison with the 6.5 sec for the standard GL500. In order to transmit this extra power and torque to the road, Carlsson use their three-piece 3/11 UL forged alloy wheels with highly polished outer rims in 11J x 23-inch size with 305/30ZR23 tyres.

The Rascasse uses a perfectly smooth Bordeaux Rouge metallic paint and a rich black paint, the two colurs providing an unusual regal look to the Rascasse. Colour matching is one of the most important elements in the fashion industry, and due to this fact Aigner uses the finest hides and Alcantara in the Bordeaux Rouge dark red shade from the bodywork to cover the seats, dashtop, door panels and centre console. Carlsson Aigner® CK55 RS Rascasse has a rich interior design and unveils an abundance of precious materials with fine equipment, leather interior and up-to-date surround sound audio system.

The third unique model of Carlsson Aigner® CK55 RS Rascasse will be an exclusive limited edition of 20 cars and is offered at a basic price of 228,500 euros excluding VAT. Rascasse is a perfect blend of performance and speed with a red sporting look.
